Sentimental Tunes workshop with Karolina Gorton

“When I hear that tune, the beat of my heart skips and the memory of the moment comes back to me… It’s winter and it’s snowing. It’s after 3pm and it’s already dark. White flakes of snow are dancing and shining in the lights of the street of a little East European town. I’m walking with my Walkman on and listening to that special tune. I’m going to meet with a friend.” - Karolina

The event will be hosted by Karolina Gorton, a local artist and storyteller, who absorbs memories of music and hears them often in her head.

Music creates special vocabulary, some tunes have lyrics which tell their own stories, but many of us have our own hidden relationships with many different tunes. You are invited to share them in a safe place of Cultural Conversations with Karolina. She is looking forward to engaging with your stories.
